WORTH CO., Iowa – A bridge in Worth County on Highway 105 has been under construction for much of the summer, but those with the county say it should soon be open.
Worth and Mitchell County Engineer Rich Brumm says they decided to fix this bridge in preparation for other road construction projects that will soon be happening. He says some issues have come up, forcing the project to take longer than they wanted.
“We had some difficulties when the project started because of paper work, which slowed us down,” says Brumm. “There was also a lot of rain.”
Brumm says he hopes the bridge will be open again in the next few weeks.
