Man pleads guilty to meth possession in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Wabasha man is pleading guilty to a drug charge in Olmsted County.

33-year-old Matthew Joseph Hines has entered a guilty plea to 2nd degree possession of methamphetamine and will be sentenced on December 19.  He was arrested in the early morning hours of September 20 after a Rochester police officer spotted him riding a stolen motorcycle.

Hines allegedly had 65.4 grams of meth in his pockets when he was apprehended.
