MASON CITY, Iowa – Three major stocks ended on record highs Monday and experts believe that hasn’t happened since 1999.
The Dow Jones, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all climbed, leaving financial experts a bit surprised. Since Donald Trump won the election, some say it’s been up in the air on how well the market will do.
“The stock market really is a long term reflection of the U.S. economy and what I’m hoping they take away from it is the economy is not as bad as most people think it is, in fact it’s pretty good,” David Jarvill, an investment officer at First Security Bank in Charles City said.
The Dow Jones hit a record high of 19000 points Tuesday morning.
