ROCHESTER, Minn. – The United Way of Olmsted County is giving thanks for everyone who has donated to their annual campaign so far.
Following the workplace campaign kick off back in September, thousands of people have made donations. This year, the goal is to raise $4,080,000. Support from across the area recently helped push the campaign over the 2,000,000 mark.
“It takes everyone coming together to do this amazing work, to improve lives. “Last year we improved 37,000 directly, and of course the whole community benefits from that so we’re grateful for that,” explains Matt Knutson, Communication & Events Coordinator with the United Way of Olmsted County. “It’s Thanksgiving tomorrow, we just want to say thank you to all those people.”
