STEELE CO., Minn. – A driver was hurt around 12:30 p.m. Sunday in a rollover on Interstate 35 southbound near Medford.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report, 83-year-old Paul Woodward, of Waukee, was headed south in the right lane in a 2008 Mercedes Benz. Thomas Berg, 53, of Minneapolis, was in the left lane in a Mercury Mountaineer. Woodward moved to pass a slower vehicle and reportedly merged into the Mercury.
Berg suffered what is described as a non-life-threatening injury and Woodward was unharmed.
Assisting with patient care were Medford Fire, the Steele County Sheriff’s Office and Gold Cross Ambulance.
