AUSTIN, Minn. – The SPAM® Museum has welcomed its 100,000th visitor.

Bonnie Johnson of Austin received a gift basket and SPAM® merchandise after being the lucky one to walk through the museum’s doors.

It opened up at a new location in downtown Austin on April 22 and set a goal of attracting 125,000 visitors over the next 12 months.  “The first year of our new SPAM® Museum has been incredible as people from all over the world have come to see the exhibits and learn about our iconic SPAM® family of products,” said Savile Lord, museum manager.

To celebrate this milestone, Hormel Foods is also donating 200 cans of SPAM® to the Salvation Army to help with hunger relief.
