Guilty plea to threats of violence

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man accused of waving a handgun around is pleading guilty to making violent threats.

30-year-old Raul Zarate Carreon of Rochester was arrested after a party on September 4.  The host told Rochester police that there was an argument and Carreon allegedly took out a handgun and pointed it at several people.

When he was taken into custody, Carreon did not have a handgun on him but officers said they found a BB gun hidden nearby.

Carreon is scheduled to be sentenced on January 30.
