ROCHESTER, Minn. – A woman arrested with marijuana and a baby in her vehicle will not be going to prison.
27-year-old Brittany Lynn Grove of Rochester pleaded guilty to 5th degree possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on May 1. Police say there were nearly 300 grams of pot on the passenger seat beside Grove and a 2-year-old was in the back seat.
On Wednesday, Grove was sentenced to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $500 fine or do 50 hours of community service. She received a stay of adjudication, which means this conviction will be wiped from her record if she meets the terms of her probation.
