10 arrested in Winneshiek County after lengthy drug investigation

 WINNESHIEK CO.,  Iowa – The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted two search warrants resulting in 10 arrests and four juvenile referrals.

The 10 adults were all charged  as a result of a lengthy investigation and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail. The case remains under investigation.

The following people were arrested as a result of a search warrant at a rural home near Fort Atkinson: 

  • Steven Anderson, 39, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance, felony possession of controlled substance (marijuana) third or subsequent offense and felony possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) third or subsequent offense.
  • Astyn Rouse, 29, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance, possession of controlled substance (marijuana) second offense and felony possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) third or subsequent offense.
  • Michael Koch, 33, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.
  • Peggy Schneider, 58, of  Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.
  • Zackary Hoste, 23, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, was charged with no valid driver’s license.
  • Stephanie Six, 35, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.
  • Steven Ashford, 62, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.
  • William Anderson, 38, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.
  • David Alve-Frana, 33, of Fort Atkinson, was charged with keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office conducted another search warrant at a rural home near Calmar. Deputies arrested 46-year-old Robert Coonradt, of Calmar, who was charged and jailed for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) third or subsequent offense.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office used the Winneshiek County Special Response team and was assisted by the Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office, Decorah Police Department, Iowa DEA, Calmar Police Department, Winneshiek County Emergency Management and the Winneshiek County Ambulance.
