AUSTIN, Minn.- The Primrose Retirement Community is reaching out to senior citizens about the benefits their facility can offer.
They spoke to folks at the Mower County Senior Center Monday. They believe senior citizens should move to a retirement community like theirs when they can make the choice on their own before they have to move there for a medical reason.
They also say their main focus is making everyday tasks easier for their residents.
“We can help with things like medication management and transportation,” said Becky Earl, Primrose Retirement Community. “It’s the simple things like going to get your hair done that are amenities that can be held within a community and they might not think of the easy access to those different things.”
She says their oldest resident is 100 years old.
Primrose Retirement Community’s number is 507-434-0600.
