ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester woman faces charges after allegedly slashing her boyfriend’s arm with a kitchen knife.
The 33-year-old man told Rochester police that 29-year-old Karen Muon had been in an argument with him about money. During it, he said she grabbed a kitchen knife and tried to stab him. He was able to grab and restrain her, but he did sustain a slash to his arm and was bitten. Police say others in the home intervened as well.
Police say Muon had grabbed a larger knife to make another attempt but wound up dropping it. The man was treated at St. Mary’s.
She faces charges of domestic assault and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
