Jeron Rennie - Multi-Media Journalist

Jeron Rennie joined KIMT News 3 in August 2012. Jeron is originally from central Minnesota, growing up in St. Joseph, a town of about 6,000 people just west of St. Cloud.

He attended St. Cloud State University where he graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at SCSU he was part of the school’s award-winning television station, UTVS. He was a sports anchor, reporter and producer for UTVS News. He also served as a statistician, in-studio host and ice-side reporter for their nationally award-winning live hockey broadcast, Husky Productions. He took part in other programs at UTVS including Husky Mag, a live-to-tape in studio sports news show, and Husky Gameday, a live football broadcast.

In case it was hard to tell, Jeron loves sports. He is an avid football and hockey fan, but will never turn down the opportunity to go to a Twins or Timberwolves game. He would love to witness the Vikings win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.

Jeron is very excited to be part of the KIMT team and is looking forward to telling the stories of Southern Minnesota and North Iowa.
