LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — They chanted “Ali! Ali!” for the heavyweight champion who called Louisville, Kentucky, home.
A crowd 100,000 strong lined a 19-mile stretch of streets throughout the city, including one named “Muhammad Ali Boulevard” for the boxing great.
They came from across the globe, some without a place to stay, to honor an icon who inspired people across religion, races and nations.
